Airnautic France celebrates

30th anniversary

THIRTY years ago, Denis Le Baler founded French GSSA Airnautic France.

With its headquarters located at EuroAirport Basel/Mulhouse, the family business – run by Le Baler and his son Laurent – covers a large section of French territory with additional offices based at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Lyon airports (LYS).

As part of the entity’s ongoing expansion plan, it is due to open a new French base at Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) in 2015.

Airnautic’s unique model, built on the strong experience and market knowledge it has acquired over the last three decades, not only offers bespoke services to its airlines customers, such as AirBridgeCargo Airlines, Air New Zealand, Etihad Cargo, Jet Airways, Sky Gabon, Turkmenistan Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways, but also acts as a charter broker arranging hundreds of flights including organising an An-225 to lift 140 tonnes of technological equipment the United Arab Emirates in 2007 – considered major event on the French air cargo market.

Airnautic’s highly skilled product manager, along with his dedicated team, continue to ensure customers receive the best possible terms of sales and operations, demonstrating that local knowledge can successfully compete with global companies.

Despite the well-documented slowdown in the air charter business in recent times, the company continues to sign new contracts and both its outlook and figures for the coming months remain positive.

Without doubt, the French local hero is definitely on course for another 30 years of success.

Airnautic France organises oil equipment charter from Equatorial Guinea

Russia’s Volga-Dnepr Airlines has delivered 20 tonnes of oil production equipment from Equatorial Guinea to Scotland on one of the cargo carrier’s IL-76TD-90VD freighters.

The shipment was carried out on behalf of French broker and general sales agent (GSA) Airnautic France.

Denis Le Baler, founder and president of Airnautic France, noted that this was the first time that the company had used this particular aircraft type.

The shipment consisted of a coiled tubing frame and a power generator and the equipment was loaded onto the freighter using cranes and forklift trucks before being flown from Malabo to Scotland’s Prestwick airport.

Airnautic France also acts as GSA in the country for AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), the scheduled cargo airline owned by the Volga-Dnepr Group.
