Amandine Lafond and her Airnautic styled plane

How could you relate the tons of cargo we carry each day all around the world and the lightness of a stunt plane flying in the French sky?!

Answer : Amandine Lafond. This young girl, who just accomplished her 18 years old, is not only one of the only French woman able to fly a Curtis Pitts SpécialS-2B, but also, the youngest! Fond of planes in general, and stunt flying in particular, Amandine took successfully her stunt flying pilot diploma in 2005 and has since then been a very active pilot. Not only has she flown more than 250 hours alone on board her "Papasierra", as she nicknamed her plane, but she's also passed her "Private Pilot Licence" in 2007. But its not her only talent: Amandine is also a great photographer.

And it's thanks to that gift that we met her : used to hanging around Vatry, Chateauroux or any other airport, on the look-out for Iluyshin 76 or Antonov 124, Amandine couldn't possibly miss the landing of the Antonov 225 chartered by Airnautic France in March 2007! The pictures she took caught our attention and we got in touch with her. Her enthusiasm and her fierceness to achieve her goals have convinced us to help her by sponsoring her.

Since then Airnautic not only flys the world for cargo transport but also proudly alongsite Amandine and her well-known Papasierra !
